Do you remember 2007?
In the background of our activities at the 2007 Clark
County Fair, country music singer, Zachary Hunter, made an appearance in our hometown.
In the stillness of the night after the rides shut down, he and his crew came to
our fairgrounds to film the music video for his song In Your Dreams.
Set against
the backdrop of our small town, the video follows the story of a 15-year-old rodeo
rider and new kid in town who is love-struck by a charming lady at his new high
school. Through time and persistence, and after proving his trophy-winning rodeo
ability, the young man gains her attention, and love.
In his video, you will see
several reminders of Clark County including Future Farmers of America (FFA) and
George Rogers Clark High School jackets, Victory Heights Elementary School, and
of course, the Clark County fairgrounds. As you can tell from the lyrics In Your
Dreams, Hunter and his director, Lark Watts, a Winchester native, could not have
selected a better setting for his music video than Clark County, Kentucky. |
